Nicole Michel is a freelance videographer and Canon T2I operator based in Washington DC, NYC, and Charlotte. She does filmwork, directing, and scriptwriting for music videos, corporate videos and dramatic films, as well as on myriad shorts and promotional films. Nicole also has an extensive background in experimental and guerilla filmmaking as well as film and documentation.
Nicole acquired solid training shooting and editing from various type of hardware at Howard University in Washington D.C. She then immersed herself in black and white cinematography and sound design while acquiring a Bachelors of Arts degree from the John H. Johnson School of Communications at Howard University.
Nicole has a proclivity for shooting dynamic, dramatic and visceral situations, but is also adept with low key situations where technical and aesthetic fundamentals are required (for interviews, documentaries and creative “b-roll”). Be on the look out!! View some samples here >.

Howard Homecoming 2010 w A.Black: The Mecca
Once again I journeyed to my alma mater Howard University. The Mecca….normally I party it up really hard, but this year I experience homecoming through a different perspective, of coming home. To see people that have become like family, and every year, it seems to be more of an enriching experience.
